 Dr.
Mark Weglos, D.M.D. –
Dr. Mark practices all phases
of general dentistry with a specialization
in oral surgery. In 1993, he graduated
in the top ten percent of his
class from Temple University School
of Dentistry. Known affectionately
as “Temple Dental,”
his alma mater is the second-oldest
continuously operating dental
school in America. As a student
there, Mark was taught by some
of the most accomplished dental
surgeons in the field. He routinely
takes 30-40 credit hours of continuing
education annually. This assures
his patients of receiving the
very best care modern dentistry
has to offer. |

Mark served
his residency at Philadelphia’s
Albert Einstein Medical Center,
one of the country’s oldest
hospital-based dental residency
programs. In this highly regarded
program, Dr. Mark was exposed
to a more integrated view of dentistry.
This approach views dental processes
as a part of — rather than
apart from — the rest of
the functions of our bodies. Such
a viewpoint helps Dr. Mark in
diagnosing health issues that
may be related to other non-dental
problems. He carries on the tradition
by teaching part time at Einstein. |

Irene
Gurtevoy, Office Manager/Receptionist
– Irene has been
with our team since 2003. She
helps keep the office running
smoothly through her friendly
assistance with scheduling your
appointments and maintaining your
records. You’ll experience
her fantastic people skills each
time you call or visit. Irene’s
sunny disposition helps you feel
welcome and comfortable, and keeps
us all moving smoothly so we can
give you the best possible service. |

Marianne
Young, Dental Assistant –
Marianne takes exceptional care
of each of our patients. Hers
is the friendly face you’ll
see when you’re in the chair
prior to treatment. She’s
one of our Educational Evangelists.
Any trepidation you may have about
upcoming treatments will drop
away when Marianne explains everything
in a way you can understand it.
As a dental assistant, she’s
an extension of the doctor who
has a great deal of knowledge
about all our processes. |

Patricia
“Trish” Barberry,
Dental Hygienist –
Another indispensable member of
our team, Trish is your one-on-one
trainer for proper oral hygiene
techniques. Also an Education
Evangelist, Trish is our highly
trained answer resource for all
things cleaning-related. She’s
also an accomplished X-ray technician
who makes sure Dr. Mark has the
sharpest, cleanest possible images
to work from in spotting potential
trouble areas. |

participate in annual refresher courses.
There, they are exposed to the latest
tools and techniques of the dental profession.
They bring this knowledge back to the
